DAY 1 - Departure from USA. Overnight flight to Europe
DAY 2 - GERMANY-FRANKFURT AIRPORT-NUREMBERG - Arrive at Frankfurt Airport. Your tour manager will then guide you on a ride through the Franconian Wine Region. Welcome dinner at the hotel. D
DAY 3 - GERMANY-NUREMBERG - Your day is at leisure to explore Nuremberg, a city with a rich history. Nuremberg is closely linked to the rise and fall of the Nazis. The optional "Nuremberg-Rothenburg Circle Tour & Dinner" excursion also takes you to the medieval walled city of Rothenberg-ob-der-Tauber and includes a typical Franconian dinner. B
DAY 4 - GERMANY - FIEBERBRUNN & AUSTRIA
- Tour the Bavarian capital of Munich this morning. You may enjoy an independent
lunch in the world-famous Hofbrauhaus beer hall. The afternoon ride into Austria
will give you an opportunity to admire beautiful Alpine landscapes. B,D
DAY 5 - AUSTRIA - TYROLEAN ALPS - FIEBERBRUNN - For those who enjoy the outdoors, today is ideal for walking, hiking or biking in the majestic Austrian Alps. Another option is to join the "Salzburg & Berchtesgaden with Dinner" and "Eagles Nest" optional excursions to learn more about the region's culture and history. B
DAY 6 - AUSTRIA - KITZBUHL - INNSBRUCK & GERMANY - OBERAMMERGAU - The morning stop is in the colorful ski resort of Kitzbuhl. Following the Inn River, you will arrive in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. After lunch, enter the Bavarian Alps on the scenic drive through the Seefeld Pass. B,D
DAY 7 - GERMANY-OBERAMMERGAU - As you visit the village of Oberammergau, you
can see many local artisans at work in their shops. You may want to join the
optional "Linderhof Castle" excursion to see the extravagant castles built by
King Ludwig II. Your Passion Play Theatre experience takes place between 2PM and
10PM. B,L,D
DAY 8 - LIECHTENSTEIN - VADUZ & SWITZERLAND -
SWISS LAKE DISTRICT - The bus will take you through the Alps to
Liechtenstein, an independent principality between Austria and Switzerland.
After visiting the capital Vaduz, enter into Switzerland. Dinner will be at your
hotel, located in between mountains and lakes. B,D
DAY 9 - SWITZERLAND - LUCERNE - SWISS LAKE DISTRICT - Driving around Lake Lucerne in William Tell country, you will arrive in the city of Lucerne, where you can enjoy its many historical treasures. Consider joining the "Swiss Folklore Lunch" and "Swiss Mountain" optional excursions to familiarize yourself with the culture and scenery of the area. B
DAY 10- SWITZERLAND - EINSIEDELN - SCHAFFAUSEN RHINE FALLS
& GERMANY - On the way back to Germany, stop in the
pilgrimage town of Einsiedeln and by the falls on the Rhine River near
Schaffhausen. Tonight you have the opportunity to try the local cuisine on the
optional "Black Forest Hot Rock Dinner" excursion. B
DAY 11- GERMANY - BLACK FOREST - You are in the perfect place to relax for the day, in the midst of the picturesque Black Forest. You may chose to visit the nearby town of Freiburg and enjoy Alsacian food and wine on the optional "Freiburg and a Taste of France" excursion. B,D
DAY 12- GERMANY - HEIDELBERG - RUDESHEIM -
Travel to the idyllic town of Heidelberg on the Neckar River. The old town
features
the red sandstone ruins of a hilltop castle. Continue north to the Rhine wine
town of Rudesheim. B,D
DAY 13- GERMANY - RUDESHEIM - You will have free time today to stroll along the Rhine River or visit the small shops and museums of this festive town. The optional "Rhine Cruise and Cable Car" excursion takes you on a river steamer past old castles and lets you enjoy beautiful views of the Rhine valley and the surrounding vineyards. Over dinner tonight, review with your traveling companions the highlights of your tour of the Germanic world. B,D
DAY 14- GERMANY - FRANKFURT - DAYTIME FLIGHT BACK TO USA. B

Included Features
Accommodations. Superior Tourist Class and First Class hotels are carefully selected for comfort, cleanliness, and character. Breakfast Daily. Breakfasts are usually served buffet style at your hotel, with a selection of rolls, butter, jam, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, tea, milk and juice. On occasion, the buffets may also include cereal, sweet rolls, fruit, yogurt, and/or eggs. A few breakfasts may be served continental at your table rather than as a buffet. Dinners. The included dinners, whether "special highlight" or standard meals, follow a fixed menu. Tour Manager. An experienced representative will accompany the tour for the full European duration. Land Transportation. A deluxe, air-conditioned motor coach will provide transportation throughout Europe in accordance with the itinerary. Airport Transfers. For passengers who purchase the complete air and land tour from Image Tours, transfers are provided on Day 2 from the airport to the hotel and on the last day of the escorted tour from the hotel to the airport. If Image Tours provides land only, transfers are not included, but land-only passengers may join the group transfer at no additional cost if their flights allow them to do so at the times stated in the final documents. Pre- or post-tour extensions do not include transfers. Baggage Handling. Porterage is provided for one suitcase (maximum 30" x 22" x 10" and 50 lbs/23 kg in weight, see during the entire trip, except at airports. Although highly unlikely, there may be a rare occasion on which individual baggage handling is required at a hotel. You must carry your own hand luggage throughout the tour. Taxes & Service Charges. The tour price includes taxes and service charges for all aspects of the tour that are pre-arranged by Image Tours. Any additional tipping to hotel staff and tour personnel as an expression of special appreciation is strictly a personal matter and must never be considered mandatory, either by tour participants or by tour personnel.
